Our Terms & Conditions for Hire 2025.

When completing a booking with Bop & Bounce Ltd whether it’s via the website or over the phone, If at any point you DO NOT AGREE to any points listed below, please don’t complete your booking with us and call us to discuss this further.

Bop and Bounce Ltd.

Definitions:

  • The Company” – Bop and Bounce Ltd.
  • “The Client” -Refers to the hirer or the person placing an order for equipment or entertainment with "The Company”
  • “The controllers” - Refers to any product that’s on hire by the company that requires a member of staff who will control and manage the item to the high standard trained.
  • Wet Hire” - Refers to equipment or service hired by the client but operated and supervised by the company. (Controller) A manned hire. This includes items with the words "inc staff" in the item description or where you have booked event staff at an additional charge, on your booking confirmation with the duration booked.
  • Dry Hire” - Refers to equipment or service hired, operated and supervised by the client themselves. An unmanned hire.

It is important that you the hirer will become the competent person within your booking to understand and fulfil our terms and conditions and that all safety is adhered too.

Bop And Bounce Ltd Liability and Insurance:

  • Our Company provides public liability insurance which covers the equipment only and not the users.
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that they have adequate insurance cover in place to cover every aspect that could arise including accidents to the users and the public on dry hire.
  • The client agrees to inform the company for any damage or theft of the company's equipment whilst on hire. Our insurance theft cover doesn't cover our equipment whilst on hire therefore the client is responsible for the cost of repair or replacement in full.
  • The client agrees to indemnify the company from any claims including but not limited to property damage, accident or injury claims for users or the public.
  • Our Public liability cover shall be deemed invalid if any persons other than employees of the company have set up the equipment. Therefore, we cannot allow the client to pick up and return equipment themselves, nor move any equipment that has been placed in line with safety regulations in mind, or removed from site or the position it was formally agreed upon.
  • If you require a copy of our public liability insurance for your booked venue, please don’t hesitate to email us in advance to your booking date at info@bopandbounceltd.co.uk, as these documents are not available via our delivery staff nor on the day of your hire.

Quotes, Deposits, Payments, Balances and Prices:

  • All orders require a 25% deposit, and the balance must be paid in full within 48 hrs of booking.
  • All prices listed on our online platforms are subject to change without any prior notice.
  • All deposits and booking fees are NOT refundable and will be lost on cancellation.
  • Any discount codes will have a valid date time frame please use within the time frame.
  • Please note All card payments will be made online by Square Pay.
  • All offers that currently run at the time of your booking will need to be paid in full to secure that offer due to availability.
  • Any cash payments for outstanding balances will have an agreement made up prior to the event date via email and must be paid on delivery before set up has commenced, the person making payment must be present on your allocated delivery time slot or an agreed person over 18 years of age present.

    Cancellations:

  • A cancellation within 4 weeks - 25% of the total invoice needs to be paid.
  • A cancelation within 2 weeks – 50% of the total invoice needs to be paid.
  • A cancellation within 24hrs– 100% of the invoice needs to be paid.

    Weather:

  • We cannot be held responsible for adverse weather on the day and no reduction in our charges or refunds will be offered. The paid invoice will still be deemed accountable unless we have had to cancel for safety reasons a alternative date will be offered to you.
  • If hiring inflatable’s, none of our inflatable equipment must be operated in high wind speeds especially between 16 - 24 mph and above, a anemometer is recommended for use if your item doesn’t have a controller present, This is to ensure we fully meet the BS EN 14960 at present and to ensure all our equipment is operated within safe conditions and minimise the risk of accident or injury at your event.
  • During periods of heavy down pour of rain our equipment must not be used. The client must wait for the period to pass and then source suitable drying equipment to dry all equipment before use commences.
  • In hot weathers the inflatable bed can become quite warm, we do not hold responsibility for the positioning of inflatables when this occurs.

    In any weather conditions that a hire commences no refund will be given if at any time the item doesn’t become safe to use.

    Ordering:

  • By placing an order online, verbally over the phone or via email it is deemed and understood that the client fully agrees and bound by these terms and conditions, cancellation policy’s and enters into a contract with the company.
  • When placing an order please ensure you have the landowners or venues permission.
  • Copies of our insurance if requested, risk assessments are available on request, once a deposit has been made prior to the clients booking date. If you require a copy of any of the above, please email us at info@bopandbounceltd.co.uk.
  • In the event of traffic or other circumstances beyond our control preventing us from being able to fulfil our contracted obligations our liability shall be limited to a refund of any monies paid in relation to the contracted event or a pro rata reduction in the hire fee in the event of delayed start. No further compensation will be paid irrespective of any loss of earnings.
  • We do offer an over night hire on a limited number of castles, due to the nature of this hire it can arrive in a poor condition that will be amended on site, such as a dirty step, bed etc, these castles are of an older condition that are still completely up to standard and tested.
  • All equipment can NOT be hired out to any other client except the client it was hired out to on the booking confirmation agreed by the client and company.
  • When hiring our Rodeo unit please ensure you have a clear access of 3ft or wider to get the base unit through. If the base unit cannot fit through the designated route, the item CANNOT be used, and no refund will be issued.
  • when choosing your choice of castle please remember we aim to live up to our pictures and update them regular however as we are an outdoor as well as in indoor events company our castles may become weathered to the eye, this does not affect the safety of the castles, just the visible skins on the outsides and or the platforms. if this is an issue please contact us direct so we can advise you on what castle will be best suited. as we will hold no responsibility on the day of booking.

Delivery and Collection:

  • Our standard delivery time is between 7:00am and 12:00noon and latest free collection is up to 7pm for all garden hires.
  • For bookings with a later finish time other than our standard late collection fee if applicable. We do offer an overnight service at an additional charge on selected castles only, these products being one of our older castles yet safe and up to standard.
  • All overnight hires must be kept in a safe a secure location that is able to be locked to prevent any theft that will then become a fee due to the client for a full replacement.
  • on delivery, when making the booking you agreed to the surface and any previsions that may occur, if on delivery the team are faced with any issues not advised or truth that’s been fabricated such as steps, inadequate space, faulty or non-working lifts, the delivery will be refused, and full payment will still apply by the client.
  • All delivery’s booked will be complete and then inspected by our delivery team.
  • Once set up the client or a known representative of the client over the age of 18 is to then sign for delivery once happy with their terms of hire.
  • By the client or the representative acting on their behalf signing for the equipment or service, the client or the representative acting on their behalf are confirming that they are happy with the equipment, location and service and that everything has been left in full working order and is fit for purpose, they would have also agreed that no movement of equipment no matter how big or small will be moved.
  • Once the equipment has been signed for, any breakages caused, damages made, will then be liable for the client to pay the full value for either repair or replacement.
  • Please make sure that the area where the items are to be set up is free from underground services this may include cables, water pipes, any drainage systems etc if in the unlikely event that we hit any kind of services and we do not have a prior warning, The company will not be held responsible for any damage caused, we strike into the ground metal pegs (stakes) with a 15mm diameter that is also 16 inches long this is something that should be considered. If your item requires fencing etc we may have to use a longer stake but will not be penetrated in to the ground any deeper where possible.
  • when equipment is asked to be set up onto AstroTurf/fake grass please Remember this cannot be secured with a stake into the ground.
  • When and if a delivery needs to go through a house or property for access, our delivery team will take the upmost care, however, any damage caused will not be accepted by the company as their responsibility and this will be down to the client to repair, replace and take responsibility for. Therefore, we would recommend any items or furniture that can be moved to prevent this, it is also advised that any flooring is to be covered with a protective material, so a trolley with the equipment the client has on order can be wheeled to the required set-up point, when no outdoor access is accessible. If your items that you are hiring from the company is to be placed anywhere other than on a grass area that is level, free from all obstructions previously noted this is something the company call “special requirements” therefore we must be informed when booking your item so that any additional safety equipment can be provided; the duty of care which will be on the hirer.
  • All the items and equipment are left in the responsibility and care of the client from the time they are delivered until the time that they are collected. If collection is delayed for any reason in which you will be notified the client is still responsible until the items are collected.

  • when a collection time is agreed for next day or at a certain time with the client, failure to comply with these or respond to us will result in a full day hire charge being invoiced to the client, as this will delay our future booking and or day ahead.
  • Please ensure upon delivery the designated access area is clear of all litter, rubbish, waste, dog/pet fouling and any other items that may be causing an obstruction. It is the responsibility of the client to move items and make sure the area is ready for set up before the company arrives to avoid any damage or injury.
  • There will be an additional ball charge of £50.00 if all balls are not returned to the adult ball pit and £25 for child’s ball ponds at the end of an event if the ball pit’s/Ponds are hired without a staff member, this will be payable at the collection time or invoiced to the client if the client is not present at time of collection.
  • Any garden games and accessories that are hired out and not returned in full such as items missing, broken, been mis used will incur a fee. Each individual fee is listed under the description of each item.
  • Any lost Basket balls or Footballs will incur a fee please see description for full fee that will be liable to the client and invoiced based on per ball.

    PARKING CHARGES:

    Please Remember when equipment for delivery is ordered, there must be a parking space/permit/ visitors pass or a valid parking ticket purchased for our delivery team to load/unload and set equipment up/derig equipment supplied to the client at your chosen event. Any staff that will be remining on site will need a parking space if required. If parking is not available for any reason please contact us asap to prevent refusal or delivery so we can add a drop off driver to your delivery documents but this will incur an extra fee to the client, any form of tickets or towing fees received during or after the event has happened and we are parked in the designated parking space allocated by the client while we are on site the client will be charged and invoiced for the full amount due.

Equipment:

  • All sizes and measurements quoted are approximate and are to the best of the company's knowledge.
  • All equipment always remains the property of the company.
  • The company reserves the right at any time to substitute any booked equipment or services to the client at short notice, this will always be to the value or of a higher vale never at a lower value unless stated before hand for any reason, we will aim to keep along the lines of the same colour scheme as and when we can
  • It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that suitable security and crowd control measures are in place prior to the start and during the event, this will also include fencing if required and not requested via the company.
  • It is the clients responsibility that all sweet carts are treated with respect, no excess weight water or people to mount them.
  • The princess carriage has a limited weight this must be adhered to any damages caused will be down to the clients responsibility, along with the opening and closing of the carriage door.
  • flower walls and other party set ups must be hired with the respect intended to use these any damages to the erect poles, flowers or backings will be down to the clients responsibility.
  • our Led lights are to be positioned where needed and not moved, if moved and any breakages are made, to the fittings smashing of bulbs plugs etc the client will be billed for the damages caused.

Power requirements and Generators:

  • As stated on each product description the majority of our items require a 13amp 3pin plug or a 16amp socket, each socket required will depend on the number of items ordered. If you are unsure, please don’t hesitate to contact us direct.
  • If a power socket is unavailable a generator can be supplied at an additional cost, if a generator is being sourced from the client it must be powerful enough to run the adequate number of 16amp sockets required for the client’s order.
  • If a generator requires refuelling during the hire period, the client must ensure someone capable is able to do this. We advise that regular checks should be carried out on the generators fuel levels during the hire period every hour and 30mins and they should not be allowed to go any lower than ½ of a tank for safety measures.

    Health and Safety and hygiene requirements:

  • when each individual is on a piece of equipment that is on hire it is the client’s responsibility that suitable clothing is worn, to avoid harm to the skin.
  • socks must be worn at all times
  • At any time, the following items are NOT to be used on inflatables, shoes, sharp objects, Jewellery, glasses were necessarily, pins such as badges etc, toys, silly string, streamers, freshly painted faces, no food drink or gum, hose pipes or water toys to be used to always ensure safety.
  • NO face paint, Body art, henna or tattoos, silly string etc to be used at the inside venue when you hire the white castle.
  • Anyone who is or appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked not to mount or use the company equipment.
  • Our staff that are operating at the clients event are there for the safety and operation of all equipment, they are not there to baby sit any person or child at the event, whilst they are on site they will do there upmost to ensure safety but will not be held no reasonability against accidents or loss of property or children if they choose to leave the supervised item unattended.
  • If at any time the operator feels an item is being used disrespectfully or endangers the safety of others they can shut down or stop the item from being used, in the very few cases like this no refund will be issued.
  • All participants ride at their own risk.
  • Only one person to mount any equipment at one time.
  • Any pre-existing medical conditions know should prevent you from using equipment that may cause further damage or harm.
  • The rodeo bull or any equipment that’s to be mounted must be done safely by the individual alone to be able to ride.
  • It Is advised that if you are pregnant NOT to mount or use any of our equipment, our staff are trained to treat each individual with the upmost respect but on occasions we can get this wrong this is not a personal judgment it is just an over caring operator that we have doing there up most to keep you safe.
